Account information — your email address via Google or Apple Sign-In, used solely for authentication.
Financial transaction data — we connect to your American Express account through Plaid to retrieve transaction data (merchant name, amount, date, category) to determine which perks you've used.
Purchase history — if you subscribe to PlatinumPerks Max, your subscription status is processed by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
Identifiers — internal user IDs to associate your account with your data, shared with RevenueCat to manage your subscription.
Match your transactions to known Amex Platinum perks so you can see which benefits you've used and which are expiring soon.
Send notifications before perk deadlines so you don't miss them.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond perk tracking.
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
Your bank credentials are never stored by PlatinumPerks — Plaid handles authentication directly with your financial institution.
Plaid access tokens are stored securely and used only to retrieve transaction data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with any third parties. The only external services that receive your data are Plaid (to connect to your financial institution) and RevenueCat (to manage subscriptions). Neither is used for advertising or tracking.
You can delete your account directly from the app in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, stored transactions, and revokes your Plaid access token. You can also contact us to request deletion.
